Business Collaborator acquires new parents

Knowledge collaboration solution to become part of SciSys offer

Business Collaborator, previously part of the Enviros Group, has been acquired by the CODASciSys Group. The Business Collaborator product, which is widely used in the construction, financial services and utilities sectors, is an "out-of-the-box" Knowledge Collaboration solution which provides secure access to, and management of, up-to-date information from anywhere in the world. With a 5 year proven track record, Business Collaborator has already established itself as a market leading tool underpinning a wide variety of internet, intranet and portal solutions.

Business Collaborator was set up in 1997, has its headquarters in Reading, Berkshire, and currently turns over approximately £2 million per year.

Adrian Smith, Chief Executive of SciSys, already sees opportunities for Business Collaborator within the SciSys customer base:

Business Collaborator's substantial customer base include Costain, Halcrow, Atkins, Nationwide, Lloyds TSB, Scottish Water and Balfour Beatty. Business Collaborator staff will transfer to the SciSys offices in Reading and clients will continue to be supported from this location.
