Business Collaborator Ltd (BCL) co-sponsors Harvard University research into ROI of online Project Collaboration
BCL is very pleased to be the sole UK-based company that is co-sponsoring a Harvard University research project "Quantifying the Return on Investment (ROI) of Online Project Collaboration and Management Systems". The research will define the true value of online collaboration and management systems in construction and FM processes. The project is involving a number of industry focus groups, an industry summit, and exposure in Harvard conferences and events.
The main researcher Burcin Bercerik was recently in England talking with a number of BC customers who have agreed to take part in the research and provide access to their data.
The project will result in:
- An econometric model for determining ROI that can be used internally by BC and participants.
- An extensive research White Paper with clarification of research objectives, methods, findings, and conclusions including a minimum of ten case studies with validation and evaluation of findings and consequent ROI methodology - this will be available to all BC customers.
- A web-presence with model to quantify ROIs that all BC customers will be able to utilise.
BCL's sponsorship of this project, as well as its ongoing commitment to and membership of the Henley Management College's KM Forum
illustrates our desire to be the thought-leader in Collaboration and KM
systems in the UK: we believe that the balance between academic rigour and
commercial realism results in a product that combines the benefits of
innovative new ideas together with strength and flexibility.
Further information about the Harvard University research results will be released in the Spring 2005.
