Business Collaborator Selected for London Gateway Port Project

DP World has recently chosen Business Collaborator project extranet for its £1.5billion London Gateway development at Shellhaven in Thurrock. After several years of detailed government consideration, DP World finally received approval for the scheme in May 2007.

This major 10-15 year project, encompassing the 1,500 acre former oil refinery site, will meet the UK Government’s identified need for increased deep-sea port capacity. DP World and Shell are collaborating to develop an adjacent logistics/business park, one of Europe’s largest, which will help drive forward the government’s Thames Gateway regeneration initiative.

Business Collaborator Ltd was chosen as it was the only vendor to meet all their requirements, having a proven track record on large-scale civil engineering projects, together with providing support for industry-standard processes and procedures enabling rapid deployment, accelerated workflow and reduced costs.
