Leading extranet provider Business Collaborator Limited (BCL) is a pioneer in collaboration software having developed our flagship product, Business Collaborator (BC), since 1994. We have years of experience delivering successful collaboration solutions to the construction industry and related sectors and can boast customers across all disciplines - from architects and consultants through to large contractors, developers, fit-out and facilities management. BC delivers value to both small and large projects and has been applied in areas as diverse as transport, utilities, finance and retail.

BCL is based in Reading, Berkshire, UK and is part of Unit 4 Agresso NV, which is headquartered in the Netherlands and listed on both the Dutch and Norwegian stock exchanges. The Unit 4 Agresso group is an international developer and distributor of integrated business information and management systems and security solutions, providing secure e-business solutions to its customers. It has around 3300 staff in 19 countries and 5200 client organisations.

• BC has over 200 man-years of development and is based on the research into team working which encompassed IT, psychology and anthropology on an award winning European collaboration project.

• BC was first established as an independent commercial product in 1997, selling our first enterprise licence to Nationwide Building Society in 1998.

• We constantly strive for improvement in both collaborative products and culture. With this in mind, we are active members of the NCCTP (Network of Construction Collaboration Technology Providers), developing standards and promoting collaboration throughout the construction industry.
• BCL are participants in the 3 year pan-European ECOSPACE project, which aims to ensure that by 2012 every e-Professional in Europe will be empowered for real-time dynamic collaboration.
