BC is being used by Docklands Light Railway to assist in the management of Invitations to Tender (ITT) and related documentation in virtual Data Rooms, including the DLR Stratford International Extension and the DLR Three Car Enhancement projects which will extend the existing network and increase capacity by 50%.
In using BC, the ITT and related competition documentation is securely stored and issued to the invited bidders. The latest document version is immediately available, reducing the likelihood of errors and costly delays due to some parties referring to superseded documentation. read more

Balfour Beatty's BBnet, their future-proof BC enterprise solution, was integrated with ZyLab, a document scanning and searching facility, to extend the idea of the paperless office to include all PPP/PFI communication for Balfour Beatty Capital. The post distribution and retrieval system provide a complete repository of searchable information on their intranet, known as The Library.
This has been redeveloped in 2007 allowing them to benefit from latest BC functionality such as virtual folders and keyword searching, together with applications such as dynamic photo organograms, editable news and staff notice boards and an integrated content management system allowing them to edit project homepages. read more

Primark Stores web-based system, known internally as Digital Administration Data Management System (DAD), has enabled the Store Development and Facilities Management departments to improve storage and retrieval of project information and drawings, and allowed for more effective collaboration with suppliers.
As a result, it has facilitated an 80% increase in new store openings and enabled the company to save significant amounts of time and money on administration. read more
